Samson Lawal the Director of the Professional Golfers’ Association of Nigeria clocked 70 on Tuesday November 8, 2016.
The resident professional golfer at the Rayfield Golf Club in Jos Plateau State said he is privilege be an octogenarian and he was able to achieve this through golf.
“It’s has been fruitful 70 years, especially since my path crossed with this beautiful game of golf. “ he said.
He added that he is glad this season of his life is spent in giving back to the game that played a big role in how his life turned out.
“Virtually all my life was lived around the game of golf and serving as the Director of the PGAN this time is great for me. I will love the changes and development we initiate this season to help lift the game to lofty heights and better the lives of the average professional golfer” he added.
